TI BI - I was sceptical at first, but so impressed with the professionalism and tenacity of the team at Pest Interceptors, they completely won me over. We had been living a nightmare and to get some reassuance and someone checking in on you regularly made such a difference.
We have had problems with rats pretty much since we moved into our house. Looking back at what we uncovered over time, we know the problem was here before us. We had worked with local pest companies, spent lots of money on drain surveys and on specialist surveys, but nobody was able to provide us with an actual solution. Mostly because the approach was to find and fix a broken sewage pipe- we never found one. Enter Pest Interceptors and their one-way rat flaps. Effectively these guys changed the locks to our house for the rats and so finally after years of struggle: quiet, no scrabbling in walls, no gnawing on roof rafters. We are still not 100% sure where exactly the rats were coming from, but who cares. Don't get me wrong- getting these guys is far from cheap especially if they have to cover some distance. But in this case, you really do get what you pay for, your mental health will thank you.
RICHARD - Having had problems with rats since at least 2016 and probably back to the 90s and wasn't fully aware of it ,I had spent much time and effort to try and find the reason for the problems. In desperation we called in a so named pest control firm who carried out a sort of survey and then put poison bait down which did eventually kill a couple of rats but did nothing to find the cause, I then started watching videos on YouTube about rat issues many from the States which while interesting weren't really relevant to uk houses. Then by chance I found Pest Interceptors videos and after watching a few began to realise they really seemed to know what they were doing and spoke a lot of sense, so I decided to try and contact them and was pleased they got back to me as I live in Hertfordshire outskirts of London and they are based in the Midlands so a fair mileage but were prepared to come down here which was worth the money to do as I already had confidence in them from the videos and reading other reviews. Chris first did a what's app video call on a Sunday to get a idea of the layout of our house and what drain covers were available to check as he says 9 times out of 10 rat problems are linked to the sewer, he then booked us in and duly turned up with his son on a very wet day and spent some time carrying out a thorough survey of both our drains and the full run of the sewers and came to the conclusion there must be a break in the pipe somewhere all our houses of had extensions built over the years and alterations have been made. The final solution was to fit several rat flap valves which he supplied an fitted the correct type and as he said there can been a short while usually 3.5 weeks to become rat free but it has worked and a big relief not to have to deal with dead rats and scratching in the walls and worse the possibility of chewed through cables so many thanks to Chris and his son the problem has now after many years been sorted. So I feel it was money well spent and felt pest interceptors conduct themselves in a very professional way and was able to sort the problem in one visit very pleased with the outcome would thoroughly recommend. I would like to thank Christian and his son for potentially saving me from going into a depression – I don’t know where I would be now if it wasn’t for social media, because that is how I finally found this business, who turned out to improve my quality of life over night, after 3 long years of living with rats (that no other small business has been able to resolve) and probably 3 years of sleepless nights and anxiety ☹. I am based in North Wales, right on the coast, so miles away from where the business is located.
I bought and moved into my house in 2020 and after a few months, it was evident I was sharing a house with rats. They occupied the cavities in my kitchen walls, my bedroom walls, under the floorboards in my bathroom, the side extension roof where I WFH, and in the attic floorboards, which was my bedroom ceiling. It was disgusting, unbelievable, and pretty surreal. Previous controllers came out and set traps, but never really put any thought or action to determine how they were getting in, they would always leave us the task of finding out how they were getting in – not our expertise so we couldn’t put a stop to it, we aren’t qualified to climb or crawl, let alone spot common signs how they would be getting in, so we put up with it. We had to.
We caught many in traps in the loft space and in the office extension loft space that even myself have been brave enough to dispose of, but again, they kept coming and coming. I have been through hundreds of flies in the (habitable) attic space, to maggots falling through the office roof hatch into our living space, to my house stinking of dead rat for 2 weeks (on 2 separate occasions), 1 of which I was unable to get to as I believe it was trapped between my attic and my neighbours wall.
We have been throwing money away for almost 3 years for a problem no one wants to take the time to try and solve, I have been really unhappy at home, in this house, that I wanted to sell it. I have spent countless hours online looking at what else I could do, even the council wouldn’t help as they don’t ‘do’ pest control anymore.. rolleyes!!

True honest work force .. Do everything they say they will do . I was very cautious due to having many pests control companies go to my property promising me they would cure my rat infestation but rats just kept coming back day after day . So I thought that’s it I will be living with rats for ever. Then I heard of this company called pest Inceptors so I will give this company a chance to rid me of the rats . Boy am I so pleased this team were fantastic..So professional and polite. Got the job done in 6 hrs checking all manholes along a row of 5 houses on my block..seen the problems straight away and rectified all issues. The way I feel now I cannot explain the relief of not hearing rats in my loft space when am sleeping. THE BONDS - "Just had to say a massive thank you to the Pest Interceptors for giving us our sanity back. Before these guys came to our rescue we lived on our nerves. We had noticed scratching coming from under our living room floor. We started by getting our son in law putting traps with poison under our living room floor. He would come and check the traps every couple of weeks, this went on for over a year. After not catching anything my son in law pulled up the whole floor, filling every nook and cranny in and replacing the floor. We didn't hear anything for a few months. We thought at last it would be done but again the scratching would be back. We bought a special camera to put under the floor. We caught footage, we could see eyes and a long tail, we were horrified we had rats. We phoned what we thought was a professional, he said he'd found where they were getting in and put a blocker in. We paid him hundreds of pounds and thanked him. We were so happy. But again a few months later the scratching was back. We were by now hating our home, it was making us on edge and anxious and really unhappy. We bought more expensive traps, we even bought a plug in device, also peppermint oil. We had by then spent hundreds of pounds and nothing had worked. We were getting desperate.
My daughter was watching a program on Channel 5 about the Pest Interceptors. She told us they were really good. They were helping peoplr like us who had tried everything and spent thousands of pounds. They were helping solve their pest problems within two visits so my daughter found their number. I called them, and within two days they came and they explained everything what they thought the problem was. They explained that you have to get to the root of the problem which they did in half an hour. They located the rats were getting in from a drain we shared with two other neighbours. They said they would put blockers in the drains so the rats wouldn't get in. They handed us a lifetime certificate. And i'm so very happy to say we have not heard anything again. ADRIAN - Lovely honest and hard working guys. Good Comms both before during and after. Ricky and Chris attended site about 2 weeks ago and apart from the first night we have heard no more from the rats. They were being heard all the time (especially evening) in multiple walls across our terrace of four houses. So far so good!! Highly recommended!
